    Real Estate Development – CWRI formed in 2008 from the merger of the Elmwood Foundation and Greater Elmwood Neighborhood Services, which had 30 year histories, created 1000 units and invested $60 million in the South Side of Providence, RI.

    CWRI is starting construction of 26 rental units on Broad St. There are 21 rental units under renovation in 3 historic houses on Parkis Ave. This project nearly completes CWRIs transformation of a street of Victorian urban mansions to 90 mixed income rental and ownership units.

    CWRI is also purchasing foreclosed properties.CWRI is redeveloping 19 Stanwood as a model green retrofit of affordable multi-family housing.

    Real Estate Sales CWRI currently has affordable homes for sale at various locations, with grants towards the purchase available for qualified homebuyers.
